A little bit more about this occupational therapy podcast

As you will quickly learn from my podcast, I am a HUGE FAN of generalist learning. I think the more we can get out of our specific practice area, the more we will grow our clinical reasoning.

Hence we intentionally cover all sorts of topics on the podcast. Honestly, if the data told me the research was influential: we cover it!

I’m obviously not an expert in every area, but I do my best to set the stage for discussions on certain topics.

Thus far, here are the 10 most-listened to episodes:

  1. OT, Autism and Sensory Integration

  2. OT and Stroke: Best Practices for UE Rehab

  3. The evidence behind the ALERT Program

  4. OT and CRPS

  5. The Pillars of Parkinson’s Rehab

  6. OT and Cost Analysis

  7. OT and Autism Screening

  8. OT and Biomarkers

  9. Why Timing Matters for OT

  10. OT and Osteogenesis Imperfecta

Finally, thank you to our incredible listeners!!!!

When I first started the podcast, I had NO IDEA whether OTs would hang in there with me as we dove into research. Honestly, I had never heard a podcast like ours, so we didn’t know what to expect. But, it is clear to me how much occupational therapy practitioners want to keep up with new research for their patients. Since launching, we have consistently ranked near the top 10 podcasts in medicine in the US (per Apple Podcasts). Thank you so much for making this a success!!
