ABILHAND-Kids
What It Measures
ABILHAND-Kids measures manual ability in children with upper limb differences — how well a child manages everyday two-handed tasks such as unwrapping a candy bar or zipping up trousers. A parent completes the questionnaire, rating each activity as impossible, difficult, or easy. What matters is whether the child gets the task done, not which hand does the work.
The English version uses 21 activities developed and validated with children with cerebral palsy ages 6 to 15. This assessment uses a standard score scale, which lets therapists track change across sessions. Occupational and physical therapists use it in outpatient clinics and school settings.

The developer's site marks its content "© All rights reserved," and allows reproducing and redistributing the questionnaire itself; a separate application process exists for clinical trial use.
