A quick note on free NBCOT CEUs
OT Potential’s free courses are designed to count as continuing education courses for your NBCOT renewal. But, it is important to note that NBCOT does not approve or endorse specific providers. Rather you can check yourself to see we meet the criteria for their professional development units (PDUs) on their renewal activities chart. Our courses fall under category #19.
As an FYI: NBCOT itself does not provide free courses to the OT community at large.
A quick note on free AOTA CEUS
OT Potential is an approved provider with the AOTA—and our free courses are AOTA approved.
As an FYI: It is important to note that AOTA itself does sometimes provide free webinars, BUT please beware that these may not meet your CEU requirements. Not all AOTA content meets the high-standards set by their AOTA Approved Provider Program, so if you do attempt to take a free course through the AOTA, I would ensure that it meets the requirements set forth by your state licensing board and/or NBCOT.
