What It Measures

The Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) is an assessment tool designed and evaluated to measure changes in gross motor function over time or with intervention in children with cerebral palsy. The items are appropriate for those with motor skills at or below those of a 5-year-old child without any motor disability in children ages 5 months-16 years old.
