The Medi-Cog

The Medi-Cog-R appears to be a useful screening measure for functional cognition and can be used to prompt further assessment and intervention to promote community independence. The Medi-Cog and it is a combination off the Mini-Cog and a medication transfer task. The original Medi-Cog included a paper and pencil version of the transfer task but can alos be done with actual pills (beads), pill bottles, and a pill sorter. A great option for medication management screening.
