I am a pediatric occupational therapist incorporating nature, animals and equine assisted movement into my therapy practice.

I have worked in pediatrics for 18 years, mostly in the schools and private practice.  I have also worked with adults in nursing homes, home health and inpatient hospital settings.  Overall I have been a licensed OTR for 40 years and I am not done yet! My passion has been to use a horse as a therapy tool with children.  The increased strength, balance, fine motor skills, sensory processing integration and self-confidence is dramatic. I have goats, a donkey and acres of woods that present many opportunities for functional activities.   Occupational therapy has allowed me to work part-time to raise my family.  I have a special needs daughter that has Cystic Fibrosis, a progressive lung disease.  We are blessed that they have made major breakthroughs with her treatment.  She is now a healthy 37 years old, married with two children. Private practice at Breeze Hill Therapy has allowed me to follow my dream of using horses, animals and nature during therapy treatments.
