Khadijah, a specialist in geriatric OT practice, focuses on cognitive-based dementia care and helping clients age safely at home. She is pursuing Board Certification in Gerontology, has obtained her DCS from the Dementia Connection Institute, and has been lymphedema certified for nearly 6 years. An active member of AOTA and ArizOTA, where she serves as Vice President, Khadijah also has experience teaching gerontology, phys rehab, advocacy, research, and mental health at the OTA, OTD, and PPOTD levels. She co-owns a construction recruiting agency, as well as works with Jukebox Health, empowering OT practitioners to work alongside skilled contractors to facilitate home modifications for clients of all ages and needs across the nation.
