Lindsay is a licensed occupational therapist (obviously!), certified Kripalu yoga teacher, and she has deep experience in embodiment practices, including graduate courses in dance and movement therapy. Lindsay worked for several years in clinical, hospital-based settings as an OT before starting her own practice. She also currently teaches part-time in the Occupational Therapy Doctorate program at Duke University.
In her private practice, Lindsay works with clients navigating chronic or complex health challenges, including multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, autoimmunity, long COVID, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, cancer recovery, endometriosis, depression, and more. Her clients are people who are trying to balance health management with other important life roles and relationships and who:
• Want to learn practical strategies, lifestyle choices, and accessible mind-body practices;
• Need to nurture practices of self-kindness and rest to support whole-self health;
• Are looking for an expert guide with a holistic, empowering, collaborative approach.
She brings her expertise in neuro occupational therapy, mental health, and embodiment (mindfulness, dance, yoga) into collaborative 1-to-1 client work as well as her flagship group program, Root to Rise: Living Well with Chronic Illness.
