My professional ethos is grounded in connection, meaning, creativity, and curiosity. My knowledge, expertise, and passion for the nervous and sensory systems drive my dedication to helping others improve their quality of life and engage more fully in the activities that matter most to them. I recognize that nervous system regulation can influence how we move through the world, participate in daily activities, connect with others, and experience our environments. Through occupational therapy, I strive to support balance, regulation, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
I begin each therapeutic relationship with a thorough, strengths-based evaluation designed to understand the whole person and their unique biopsychosocial history. I incorporate modified motivational interviewing techniques to learn about meaningful activities of daily living, leisure interests, personal values, and individual goals. This collaborative approach allows us to develop a therapy plan that is both individualized and meaningful, while building upon existing strengths and capacities.
Outside of work, I enjoy going on adventures with my husband and our dog, attending concerts, practicing yoga, exploring museums, paddleboarding, and spending time in the garden.
