Tara Ruppert

I graduated from Creighton University in 2000 and have worked in the Omaha area ever since. My initial passion was in working with children and their families so I worked in medical and educational pediatric settings until 2007. I found a new passion in orthopedic rehabilitation and became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2008. I worked in outpatient clinics for the majority of my first 15 years of practice. I started teaching at the College of Saint Mary in 2014, and entered academia full-time in 2015, where I continue to work today. I completed a post-professional OTD in 2017, and have continued PRN clinical experience at Children's Nebraska and Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA) in addition to teaching.
