Course Description

SEO has long been the absolute best way to maintain a consistent therapy client caseload for outpatient therapists. But, for therapists in all settings really, understanding and optimizing your digital real estate is often a secret sauce for career growth.

In today’s course, we want to help you:

  • Recognize how important your digital real estate is to your practice.
  • Optimize your presence with the right keywords.
  • Understand the technical details needed for effective local SEO.
  • Get the leads or contacts you actually want!

This task has gone from important to urgent with the onslaught of vertical integration happening in therapy in 2026. Platforms like GrowTherapy, Amazon, Headway, and Talkspace want to own your digital real estate and make you reliant on them. We want to teach you how to own your own professional identity—and give yourself professional flexibility whether you temporarily use a service like this or not.

Joining us is Saroosh Kahn, CTO of Allia. I met Saroosh over a shared sense of helping keep therapists independent, and I can’t wait for him to help us navigate this.

  4. I believe every therapist should have at least a splash page about themselves; do you agree, and why?
  5. I generated a list of keywords and their traffic for this course; why is it critical to reflect the actual words our patients are using?
  6. What is the importance of backlinks, and how can we use multiple profiles to create an ecosystem to help Google understand who we are?
  7. Do you have any examples of SEO done well, and what can we learn from those sites?

Speakers

Saroosh Khan, CTO, Co-Founder

Having built his career growing and scaling tech companies, Saroosh is a strong believer in approaching the world with a can-do attitude. But when it comes to the issue of mental health, he went from can-do to can’t-afford-not-to-do. As co-founder of Allia Health, a free EHR for mental health clinicians, Saroosh uses his data-driven mind and continually growing knowledge of tech infrastructures to develop a platform that is robust, reliable, and actually worth recommending to mental health practitioners.
