Bio

My name is Amanda Dixon and I have been providing OT services for 9 years. As a graduate of Wartburg College, Hawkeye Community College, and Allen College, I have a well rounded approach to providing holistic, collaborative, patient care. I have had the pleasure of treating patients in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, inpatient, outpatient adult and pediatrics. I have a strong knowledge base and advanced training with sensory processing through the STAR model Level 1 intensive mentorship, SOS feeding, pediatric John Barnes Myofascial Release, strain counter strain, lymphedema, biofeedback and manual techniques for pelvic floor dysfunction, and many other specialty areas. I now oversee clinical operations for NIT Healthcare at our outpatient clinic and multiple contracted sites throughout north Iowa.
