OT Potential Podcast Occupational Therapy CEUs

Hi, I’m Sarah!

I felt like I was spending my entire work day reinventing the wheel. And worse, I felt like I couldn’t deliver the OT care I aspired to.

I wanted to know: What new evidence is coming out? And, what are the leading OTs doing in their practices?

OT Potential has evolved over the years to answers those questions for you. We are so proud of what we’ve built and the community that has formed. I hope you join us!

But can I really earn OT CEUs by listening to a podcast?

Yes!!!

Our podcast episodes are designed to meet the requirements for “online” and “independent/self-study” continuing education courses.

For more details read our blog post: Can I earn OT CEUS from a podcast? To verify how many CEUs you need for your license, check your OT continuing education requirements. If you are outside of the United States and have questions, please contact us.

We are proud to be an AOTA Approved Provider and to meet the requirements for your NBCOT renewal. We also report course completions to CE Broker every 24 hours.

Complements In-Person and Live Courses

Our courses are all online and one hour.

But, we know some of you have in-person requirements. And, there is something special about live OT trainings. We priced the Club affordably, so you can also seek out professional development near you.

Your state OT association is a great place to start—many offer live courses and webinars!

We designed our courses to live on the platforms you already use. All courses appear on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and everywhere you listen to podcasts. Courses released after June 2023 also appear on YouTube.

After listening, log into the Club to take your test—and access supplemental features.

Each 1 hour course includes:

  • A written review of the research
  • A podcast episode
  • For courses released after June 2023, a YouTube video of the episode
  • Supplemental materials
  • A quiz to earn a certificate

When applicable, assessments are featured in our assessment search. And, accompanying documentation examples are shared when supplied by guests.

We center each course on highly-cited new research. The research often has implications that span practice areas.

To help you sort, our courses are tagged with: Pediatrics, Adult Rehab, Outpatient, School-based, SNF, Acute Care, Mental Health, Early Intervention, Home Health, and Ethics.

As of June 2023, our new courses will have the accessibility features offered by YouTube: closed captions and a live transcript. For our podcast, we generate full PDF transcripts by request. If you would like one for any of the courses please contact us.

In week 1 of our 2-week cycle, you’ll receive an easy-to-read journal article review based on the most important OT-related research. The following week, you can listened to our podcast-based course on the research.

Cancel your membership renewal anytime from your account settings. When you cancel, you’ll still be able to use your plan until the end of your subscription period.
