Cheryl is a highly experienced clinician, educator, and leader in upper extremity rehabilitation.

With a strong background in pediatric occupational therapy, Cheryl has developed innovative approaches to treatment, offering multiple strategies to achieve the same goals and optimize patient outcomes. She specializes in prosthetic training, custom splint fabrication, and individualized patient care, working closely with surgeons to help patients regain function and reach their goals. As both a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), she brings advanced expertise to her practice.

Beyond patient care, Cheryl is dedicated to shaping the next generation of therapists. As an adjunct professor in an occupational therapy doctorate program, she teaches the musculoskeletal lab each fall, sharing her extensive knowledge with future professionals.

Over the past few years, Cheryl built and led the largest team of CHTs in the Kansas City metro area—growing the group to 25 therapists, including 16 CHTs—before branching out to establish her own private practice. Now, as the founder of Prestige Hand and Physical Therapy, she is focused on making it the premier destination for expert hand and upper extremity care.
