Bio
Clarice Grote, MS, OTR/L, is an innovative advocate for occupational therapy, health policy consultant, and Medicare specialist. Clarice is the founder and CEO of Amplify OT, a company dedicated to educating and encouraging occupational therapy practitioners and students to engage with Medicare policy and advocacy.
Clarice is the host of the Amplify OT Podcast and supports practitioners and OT/OTA programs through the Amplify OT Membership™ and Mastering OT Policy and Medicare Course™. The Amplify OT Membership provides courses and community features to help OTs and OTAs learn how Medicare and insurance impacts their practice and enter the field prepared and ready to advocate for OT!
She earned her MS in occupational therapy from Columbia University in 2018. Since graduating she has worked in home health, acute care, outpatient, and lymphedema therapy. Clarice has served as the Advocacy & Policy Coordinator for the American Occupational Therapy Association’s (AOTA) Home and Community Health Special Interest Section and as Director of Practice for the Missouri Occupational Therapy Association. Clarice currently serves as an AOTPAC Ambassador for North Carolina.

Capstone MentorAccepting capstone students who are interested in a project related to advocacy, payment policy, and entrepreneurship. Capstone students should be intrinsically motivated with strong writing skills. The experience is virtual.
