Ms. Elizabeth is passionate about pediatrics with experience practicing in early intervention in the home and daycare, outpatient clinics, and therapeutic day programs.
Bio
Ms. Elizabeth, MS, OTR/L, currently works at a private therapeutic day program with children 5 through 22 years of age serving scholars with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, and Developmental Delay. She has worked in private pediatric outpatient clinics prior with certifications in sensory integration approaches such as Astronaut Training, Therapeutic Listening, and Quickshifts. She additionally has trainings in the Zones of Regulation for social emotional development as well as Handwriting Without Tears, Interactive Metronome and courses in reflex integration, toilet training, and vision deficits in pediatrics. At Washington University in St. Louis, her graduate research project evaluated the feasibility of BORIS software to analyze behaviors when assessing animal assisted intervention in pediatric populations. Her undergraduate research looked at the effects of equine assisted movement on flexibility.
