MOT, OTR/L

About

Somatic OT partnering with clients to help them live a life of ease, balance, and meaningful engagement in the things that matter most to them.

Bio

Jamien MOT, OTR/L is a registered and licensed occupational therapist working at the convergence of physical and mental health for people experiencing chronic/complex conditions (neuro, ortho, developmental, mental health), dancers (she's a former professional), and healthy aging.

With decades of experience in movement and somatic depth work, she intuitively partners with clients to feel less alone and more connected to themselves, others, and their lives.

People often seek out her services for help with feeling comfortable in their bodies, relationships (inside and out), stress/pain/tension, and enabling better ease and performance in their valued occupations.

Modalities include light touch fascial assessment and bodywork (utilizing Tensegrity Medicine), therapeutic movement/neuromuscular reeducation (including Gyrotonic movement and Pilates), somatic emotional dialogue and exploration, coregulation/nervous system therapy, among other OT approaches.

"Helping people reclaim the gift of themselves, so they can give the gift of themselves back to the world."
