Penny Stack, OTD, OTR/L, CLT, HWC is the founder and owner of DyslexiaRx and founder of Dyslexia Center of Tulsa. Dr. Stack has over 34 years of experience as an occupational therapist including working with individuals living with dyslexia and their families. As a Navy veteran, a person who grew up with undiagnosed dyslexia, and a parent of a child with dyslexia Dr. Stack brings a unique lens to the understanding of the importance of family, community, and supporting one another. For families living with dyslexia DyslexiaRx is their soft place to land. Whether they are at the beginning of their dyslexia journey or have been journeying for what feels like a lifetime, they will find a community of like-minded people. DyslexiaRx provides resources, support, and strategies to enhance communication and self-esteem, and bring back the joy of learning and being a family. And, for practitioners and educators, Dr. Stack provided consulting and professional development. In addition, Dr. Stack is the EOTD Doctorate Capstone Coordinator Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University where she conducted research on Dyslexia and its impact on Occupation: The lived experience.
