About

I’m the co-founder of Diverge Community Services where I use my OT lens and lived experience to support the adult neurodivergent community with everyday life.

Bio

I co-founded Diverge with the vision of empowering others to live their best lives, as they define them, without barriers. I completed my professional training in Occupational Therapy at Eastern Michigan University after receiving my bachelor’s in neuroscience and psychology from the University of Michigan Honors School. As a therapist, I always strive to create a positive and collaborative environment for clients to help foster meaningful and lasting change. I embrace a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach and engage each client with curiosity and compassion. Knowing that the client is the expert in their own life, I serve as a guiding partner and advocate. I have extensive experience and training in both acute and long-term traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, mental illness, ASD, and I/DD. I LOVE to learn and am dedicated to providing effective, current, and evidence-based treatments through continuous training pertaining to areas within my practice. Through personal life challenges, I have become deeply resilient and creative, allowing me to embrace change and see daily problems differently. I think my energy, optimism, and genuine compassion for my clients sets me apart from others. When I’m not seeing clients or working on my podcast, I am likely spending time with my corgi and husband, Eric, hiking, listening to audio books or making sawdust in my workshop.
