Bio

Sabrina Starks, MOT, OTR, is a nurturing, intentional, and empowering occupational therapist with a passion for pediatric therapy. In June 2022, Sabrina founded pivOT TRW, LLC, which provides skilled therapy services to children in the home health setting and educates parents of children with disabilities and special health care needs.

In addition to her work with pivOT TRW, LLC, Sabrina has served several school districts in the Houston area, creating engaging therapy sessions using sensory processing, whole-brain teaching methods, Brain Gym exercises, joyful rigor, and hands-on learning experiences. She collaborates with educators to modify and adapt instructional methods and environments, meeting the educational and sensory needs of young scholars within their classrooms. Sabrina has also worked as a teletherapist on secure web-based platforms, serving children who may otherwise not have access to occupational therapy services.

Sabrina holds a leadership role in the Gulf Coast East District of the Texas Occupational Therapy Association. She was appointed Secretary of the Gulf Coast East District in February 2022 and was elected as the district secretary in April 2022 and April 2023. She is a strong advocate for the profession and those it serves.

Dedicated to fostering positive and collaborative relationships with scholars, staff, and the community, Sabrina is passionately devoted to therapeutic education. She compassionately strives to improve and deliver the highest quality therapy services to meet the needs of each scholar, fulfilling her purpose of serving others through the field of occupational therapy.
