I currently teach in an MSOT program. My passion and interests lie in Neuro especially stroke and MS, NICU, and empowering adults & students to reach their full potential.
Bio
Dr. Sanchala Sen, OTD, MS, OTR/L, BCPR, has been an occupational therapist for the last 35+ years, first as a clinician and now in academia for 10 years. She has a Bachelor, a post-professional Master, and a Doctorate all in Occupational Therapy. She is Board Certified in Physical rehabilitation (BCPR) through the AOTA.
Dr. Sen is the recipient of the ‘clinical educator’, outstanding practice in ‘physical disabilities’, and ‘community service' awards through the NCOTA. She has presented regularly at the NCOTA and AOTA conferences and was the keynote speaker at the AIOTA (All India Occupational Therapy Association) conference in 2020. Additionally, she has held board and volunteer positions at NCOTA and AOTA.
Dr. Sen’s clinical expertise and research interest lie in Neurology as it applies to Occupational Therapy with an emphasis on Stroke. She currently teaches adult-based and NICU courses at an MSOT program.
