Bio
Spencer Claussen, MSOT, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist based in Pueblo, Colorado, where he has lived his entire life. He began his journey in occupational therapy at Pueblo Community College, completing the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program from 2014 to 2016 and earning his OTAS. He later pursued his Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Health Administration at Colorado State University-Pueblo (CSUP), graduating in 2021. Continuing his education, Spencer earned his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) from Belmont University in 2024.
Spencer's career in OT began in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), working with the adult population, before transitioning to home health and later serving as a Director of Rehabilitation. In recent years, he has focused on outpatient pediatrics, where he has worked for the past five years. In addition to clinical practice, Spencer has been involved in teaching at Pueblo Community College (PCC), both as a student instructor and part-time faculty member. He also actively contributes to the profession by serving as the occupational therapy representative for the Occupational Therapy Association of Colorado (OTAC).
