Bio

I am an autistic mama of 4 neurodivergent kids, ages toddler to teen. We homeschool and I also love to hike, swim, read, crochet, and garden. I've been an occupational therapist since 2013. I founded Nurture in Nature Therapy Services in 2021, in which I run outdoor occupational therapy groups for ages toddler to teen, and also offer parent consults and respite care. My team and I love connecting with other neurodiverse families!

I have a level 1 professional credential in sensory processing from the STAR Institute, and I am working on getting certified as a provider for Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (see livesinthebalance.org for more), because I truly believe this approach to problem solving could save the world! I am also trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding and love helping kids who are as picky as I was as a child. ;) I am CONTIGO-certified as well and feel passionate about building nature connection as a basis for physical and mental health.
