About
Out-of-the-box OT!
Bio
I have been an Occupational Therapist since 1979 as a practitioner and clinical supervisor, professor, researcher, writer/editor, and business owner.
I provide home and community-based, transition-focused OT services to people whose occupational lives have become reduced by social, emotional, intellectual, developmental, and/or health concerns. I work with clients in their own spaces on the goals they select, such as: education and career planning, developing independent living skills, engaging with friends and the community, and living life fully despite chronic pain or fatigue.
My other passion is mentoring OT colleagues and students who strive for careers that make a difference in the world, and that provide them the deep satisfaction I have felt as an occupational therapist.
